Train chaos warnings now available on iPhone

By Web Reporter

BUSY commuters in Harlow can get advance warnings about train delays with the launch of a new iPhone application.

Network operator National Express East Anglia, which runs services to London and Cambridge via Uttlesford, Bishop’s Stortford and Sawbridgeworth, will provide up-to-the-minute information through the automated service.

The free app, which will also work on iPad devices, is linked to the live updates provided on NXEA’s website.

It will give further details about the cause of any disruption as well as early warnings of scheduled engineering works. Users will also be told how long delays are likely to last.

A spokesman said: "We are determined to continue to invest in our train services and to improve communication with our customers. This new iPhone App is easy to use and the ideal way to keep informed on how train services are running across our East Anglia network."

To download the application, search for NXEA J’Check in Apple App Store.
